Default 997 Setup

OK I just saw a picture of my car with my son driving with one front wheel in the air. This was at the Pikes Peak championship tour and the track has a lot of on and off chamber turns with dips and rises. I have a Tarett GT front bar with adjustable end links and RS3 tires. The 5 way swaybar is set second firmest hole.

My question is should I move it to the mid hole to soften up the front of the car.

The old conventional wisdom on 911's was that unless you were lifting the inside wheel you weren't pushing the car hard enough......

… and the other conventional wisdom (on a rwd car) would be to stiffen the rear in roll to keep the front tire on the ground. (and vice-versus)

But, if was caused by a dip, instead of a steady-state thing, maybe nothing should be changed.

I was running 36 psi in the rear with my RS3's as that is the pressure that the old RE11 liked but that has much firmer side walls. This was the first race with the RS3 tire so I set it up like the RE11. So next race I will start at 36 and let the pressure build and see what happens. Chris was a tenth off the Lotus that was running RS3 also but Jake from N.M. with the yellow Lotus that is on RE71s was another story. Dame guy can drive the wheels off a car.

don't worry about it. Standard procedure for RWD cars. Reversed for FWD cars.

Good the front feels good to me it's the back that is a little bouncy. I will let the pressure build to 38 and see how the car is doing. It's a great picture though
