Earlier this year my autocross car was totaled and I didn't buy it back, so to hold me over I'll be autocrossing my 996tt. Does anyone else here run theirs? How does it do? And most importantly, anything I should watch out for?
Thanks

The issue you face is classing, if you run SCCA events. They exclude the 996/997 TT from their Stock classes....you have to run SSP (Super Street prepared).
They understeer is the problem with the student cars I've driven so you'll have to pay attention to that. Also there is a water line that I think needs attention or it "blows off" I believe. Sorry I can't be more specific about that but I saw it happen once and it was mentioned it wasn't uncommon due to sitting at higher RPM for a long time?
