Default My first AutoX video

So I got my first video of me autocrossing ever... and thought I would share!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vj00_6Q0wlM

Fourth and last run of the day - I was happy to finally get a clean, fast run. Still took last in AS, because all of the other competitors in AS have been doing this for 15+ years (I'm at year three!) But I was within 2 seconds of their time, and know I'll get there eventually.

nice video. I like the location of the camera, care to share info on your video equipment and mount.

I have no idea about the camera, lol. It's a friend of mines... the mount is just a suction cup mount.... beyond that, I know nothing.

And yep, this was only from like two weekends ago-ish. Aren't you on Roclife too? I'm Silver over there.

That was a nice view.
Looked like a good course, too.

Thanks everyone! The view was a cool idea and even though I can't see the cones on the other side of the car, it gave me a good idea of how my steering inputs were (hello shuffle steer....) and what my body has been doing in reaction to the movements of the car.

I was also able to see that I'm still about 6" further away from cones than I WANT to be, at least on the driver side - so my assumption is that's probably almost a foot on the passenger side.

Cool the old parking lot at RIT. Been years since I was out there. Never even knew about autox back then. Was into doing road rallies around the Henrietta Chili area.

Nice run.
