Early October can be a tough weather situation near Watkins Glen, NY. The Seneca Army Depot Airfield afforded acres of concrete and asphalt for Zone 1 course designers.
Day 1 was hot and muggy setting a local high tempature mark. The course was semi-tight and all cars were able to take over 6 runs. Day 2 was cooler with rain threatening and the course was opened up a bit for higher speeds.

The CNY team did a great job of improving their times on day 2 and surfaced victorious over the NNJ and Metro NY teams to claim the Zone 1 Autocross trophy for 2007.

Congrats on the win. Any chance you could post the track layout, day one and then day two?

Congrats to CNY!
I am the Autocross chair for 2008 with NNJR PCA. Unfortunately, for 2007 most of our regulars couldn't make the trek to Seneca (me included) due to various conflicts. I think we only ended up with 6 or so drivers from NNJR! It's too bad that this event was so poorly attended, as everyone said how great the courses were, and how well the event was run in general (thanks to Metro PCA guys).
We hope to attend the event in full force this year and give the other regions a run for their money!
