Alignemnt/Shocks/bump steer?

Or is only a bad alignment the cause?
Could a slightly off alingment (toe) cause a floaty feeling when on the straights, but feel solid in the corners?
Can bad shocks feel fine in the corners and "floaty" in the straight, especially if you rock the steering wheel some.
suspension suffers from bump steer, you'll get more of it because the wheels
have no resistance to moving up and down in a bump, so they move more,
so the inherent geometry problem is articulated further. If your setup had no
bumpsteer, worn shocks would not create any.
If you have too much toe-out, the car is darty at speed in a straight line.
Floaty sounds like dead shocks. Toe-out in the front would feel OK in corners.
Toe-out in the rear tends to sharp tail-out oversteer (dangerous).

Thanks for that info.
I have Knoi yellows on but they are about 7+ years old. I have read that in actuallity that is their limit even though they carry a lifetime warrenty.
