AX Chassis Setup
I’m looking for some recommendations for setting up my 993 C2 coupe for autocrossing.
I’m currently running with PSS9s set at 3 for both front and rear.
TRG front 25mm sway bar, set in the middle.
TRG rear 22mm sway bar, set in the middle.
Kumho V700 Victoracer 225/45/17 front. 35 psi hot
Kumho V700 Victoracer 275/40/17 rear. 39 psi hot
Front camber 2.0 neg, Rear camber 1.5 neg
My problem is understeer. I thought about wider front tires, soften up the front, lower front tire pressure. Where do you start?

Back when I had my 1995 993 (1994-1997) I ran -1.4 degrees front and -1.7 degrees rear with 245s in front and 275s in the rear (BFG Comp T/A R1s). I had 8.5x17 and 10.0x17 Fikse wheels. My car was a 1995 C2 non-sunroof coupe with H&R struts (spring rates about 400 and 500 lbs/in) and adjustable sway bars (Ruf?). As I remember it I ran somewhat lower pressures in my Victoracers on my 996 back in 1998, maybe 32 psi front and 35psi rear, but it's been a long time.
The first thing I would do would be to go to wider front tires.
