Waiting on the season and busting my hump (& wallet) on my annual winter project. Gonna get less weight & more tire on my F prepared 914......and a paint job.

I'm thinking of driving up to Connecticut for some "Snow-cross"

Conn Autocross & Rally Team website

Looks like fun:

Of course, I'd be driving my Subaru instead of my Porsche....

Us autocrossers down here in south FL are autocrossing our butts off as usual and the 993/996/997 drivers are very happy to see the new Kumho V710 tires coming out with our sizes soon! should make for a fun 2005 autocross season. Anyone here planning on running the Parade Autocross in Hershey in June?

Hey thanks! I have been looking for something like that. Got my snow tires on and I'm ready to go. Don't expect to place well but I bet it is a hoot!

Starting to plan for the upcoming season here which doesn't start until May...Winter and all...
This will be the first year I will be running my very under prepared 993 in ASP. The car is new to me. I used to run a Mustang in ESP for the last 5 years and did very well with it....If there is anyone out there running a 993, I would welcome any input on initial setup. The car currently have the M030 suspension with LSD with ABD....

Rich,

I am going to the Parade as my daughter lives in Hershey, free room and board. I have seen you run at IRCC and you & Erin are awesome. Are you by chance coming to IRCC in January, if so I will be there with my new GT3 on street tires as my new rims and tires are not here yet.

Looks like a lot of fun Zoltan

Get some snow tires for the 944! or take the subaru...

I'm going to try to convince my friend with an early 90's Audi S4 & snow tires to go.

Z-man, any idea where the snowcross is held? I looked around their website for a while but couldn't find anything. Thanks.

David:
No - I couldn't find the exact location either, but I'm going to send an email to find out!

IIRC, it's at a large parking lot.

Here's another alternative if you want to race in the winter...
