why would you want to add understeer?

The car is too loose for me right now, and the fact that I cannot induce any understeer at any point tells me I simply have too much front tire. I also just made some minor adjustments to the alignment based on tread wear, reducing rear camber from -2.3 to -2 (though when on the rack, camber had somehow increased from the last alignment a few months ago to -2.5), and the car felt much better at yesterday's event, but again no understeer -- just less outrageous oversteer.
I'd rather have a more neutral car with a slight tendency to oversteer than one that ONLY oversteers. Hence, increasing grip in the rear (305 -> 315), and slightly reducing grip in the front (rt660 265 -> A052 255). We'll see if the experiment works at the national tour in March when I get the tires mounted
