I will have to look at Hobby Lobby. I would get a roll off of that site, but i only need enough to make numbers for both sides of my car, not cover the whole car in magnets lol...

Thanks

Michaels and Rag Shop craft stores have them in 1 foot by 2 foot sheets, with adhesive on the non-magnetic side.

Also try AC-Moore craft stores.

Some of the Monterey PCA members have used Dick Blick Art Materials as their source of magnetic sheets to make numbers. I ordered my numbers from edecals .

Home Depot sells magnetic rectangles in the HVAC aisle. They are used to block off supply registers in forced air systems.

Three sheets in a package.

Go to any sign company and they will cut you a piece on the spot.

What size numbers should I get to run PCA and SCCA events?

SCCA requires minimum of 8 inch high numbers with 1 inch stroke, 4 inch high class letters. I don't believe the PCA has any national requirements, so you'll have to check the rules of your local PCA. Chances are the SCCA requirements will also meet any regional PCA requirements, if any exist. Our local PCA doesn't have any specific letter/number requirements, other than they must be on both sides of the car and legible.

Default NE Region SCCA Events

The guy who runs this site :

http://www.rallydecals.com/catalog/p...products_id=48

Attends NE Region SCCA Autocrosses. He brings the bits with him, I bought a pair of magnetic number-squares from him there.

I was in Office Depot today and saw a package of 6" high ADHESIVE numbers for about $10. Although it's not tall enough for the SCCA, it might be a quick and dirty solution for your local PCA region's autocross.

Personally, I bought two different sets of magnetic numbers from E-Decals.com
