Default Is this CDR23 dead?

03 996, CDR23. Yes, that one.

Before all this started, the battery was kinda dead from sitting, so it was "recharged."

I turn the car on, and the radio does not light up. I checked the fuses, and the "soung system" was blown, so I replace it.

Still does not light up.

I remove the fuses for radio and soun"g" system for more than 10 seconds, replace, and still does not even light up.

I have not opened the dash to check the wiring behind it. I dread doing that. But any other thoughts before I do?

Thx in advance.

Update. It was the fuse behind the head unit. There was also a plug not in place, but the fuse was the issue.

I was messing with my radio a while back. Tried to setup an ipod install but wanted to play cdc option also. Anyway, I'm not sure exactly what I did but it turns out that the radio fuse (in the block) blew somewhere along the way. I was pretty relieved that it wasn't something serious. So ya, happened to me so could be a possibility.
