Default Installer in Maryland/DC/Virginia To Replace OE 996 Radio/Nav?

Good Afternoon Folks,

I live in the Maryland, DC, Virginia metro area and am looking for a quality installer to swap out the OEM Porsche radio/navigation unit and to upgrade me to something more modern. I have two left thumbs when it comes to electronics, so I don't want to get into any audio work unless it is truly a plug & play head unit. Since I have the radio/nav unit then it already appears to be setup with a 2DIN slot unless I am mistaken. I like the Kenwood and Pioneer units, but would make a mess of things trying to install those myself.

Any advice or guidance would be appreciated.

Regards,
John

John, I am next door in Gaithersburg and researching the same. I found one place but can't vouch for them so you may want to check them out yourself. Let me know what you think if you do. Cutting Edge Tint, 7638 B, Airpark Rd., Gaithersburg. They do tinting along with a bunch of other stuff including car audio sales and installation.

I'm also looking at upgrading to a GPS/Radio for my 996.

Hurley's in Tysons Corner. I've had them install a Pioneer AVIC double DIN head unit on both my 996 Cabriolet and Cayenne TT. If you have extra $$ I highly recommend ordering the subwoofer package for the 996 from Car Audio Innovations in Cali.

John, what did you end up installing and how much did it come to? I'm still searching for a good place to have an install done and was not familiar with Invius. 2003 996.

Is your 996 BOSE? CDR or a PCM radio.

Here's an idea for a 996

If you have some questions let me know you should be under 2500.00 installed

I know Mario from Invius Motorsports great guy and very professional in the Rockville Area. In Virginia call Elias Ventura from Unique Audio 240-426-1971 great guy as well with many years of experience on high end vehicles.
