For around the house, I started with Grado SR80's which were great entry level 'audiophile' cans. I've since moved on to the Denon D5000's, which are more comfortable, less fatiguing and better sounding.

I also use an RSA Predator headphone amp. I was skeptical at first, but after trying it out, the difference is truly night and day.

For air travel, I've been using the Sony XBA series in ear headphones. They do quite a good job at blocking out the ambient noise, and have some great sound to them.

I went for the 2 driver ones, as I couldn't justify the added expense of the 3 or 4 driver models after auditioning them back to back.

If anyone is looking for an IEM for the gym/biking, the UE350s are amazing for the money. Water resistant, sound is the best I've heard for a dynamic unit. Smooth and easy to listen too, powerful bass.

Shure se535. I fly about 150k miles a year and they've become my secret weapon. I've had them on as long as 10 hours and slept with them too! Well worth the money.

I use Bose on-ear headphones. Very comfortable and incredible sound.
