Default Just bought a Marantz ZR6001 Reciever.

Had a screaming deal from a friends audio shop for it (was a display unit). It even came with 3 of what they call ZC4001 Clients. Basically the ZC's are portable units that use the AC line in the house to transmit the signal. So I set up the stereo and then plugged in the ZC's and could get the sound (Radio/CD/TV/etc.) in three different rooms.

Pretty cool deal. Anyone have one? Or Marantz, how do they last? I'm running B&W DM601's and JBL Powered Subwoofer for music. So far so good.

I have had my rather low end Marantz SR4500 for the last 7 or 8 years and it looks and functions like new - I am extremely happy with it. It doesn't have very many features compared to modern units but it sounds pretty darn good.

Not familiar with the unit but I have owned many Marrantz units and every one has always been top notch for the time. I currently only have a Marantz Blu-ray player and 2 DVD players. My least impressive Marantz products but still decent units.
