AUX input vs AUX BT Input
Greetings,
I recently installed the ZZ-2 Carplay upgrade in my BOSE PCM unit in my '14 981 (it's a board swap upgrade). The sound is excellent when I have the unit in AUX BT but when it connects with the AUX the sound is sub-par. I have made sure the SOUND setting for each in the PCM unit are the same and that the sound bar on my iPhone is all the way up. The problem is the default when starting the car is AUX and I have to fiddle with the radio to switch it to AUX BT. It would be nice if I could somehow make the AUX BT the default, or if there is a way to set the sound on AUX the same as AUX BT.
Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution? I find it odd that a Bluetooth input would have better sound, but I am certainly not an expert at Auto radio stuff.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Bluetooth should be louder and therefore if not amplified properly just might sound better, but corded is usually always better.
I have a Cayenne with Burmester and the Bluetooth is louder and if one switches back and forth, they would think the bluetooth sounded better. However if allowed to tweak each inputs settings, mainly the volume, the aux wins.
