Hi, does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the input volume on a Porsche PCM for the different sources ? I mean when I put on the radio the volume is loud. When I switch over to Apple CarPlay and I play music from Spotify, then the volume is a lot less. It is sufficient still, but I wander if I can increase it.

I have the Bose option in my car. I use an Apple iPhone over the USB connection under the armrest. On the iPhone I play Spotify. In Spotify there is a possibility to adjust the volume to loud/normal/soft. I have it on loud.

In my previous car, a Carrera T, which is basically the same audio set up, there the volume difference between radio and Apple CarPlay was a lot less, actually never noticed it.

Sometimes when my phone connects with Apple CarPlay, the volume on the phone reduces automatically compared to just connecting via Bluetooth. Not sure if that is what you are experiencing?

 

As far as I know when the iPhone is connected over USB or over Bluetooth I cannot increase or decrease the volume output of the iPhone. But still after your comment, I will test it. Thanks !
