Alpine 7272 - Question
Hi,
Random question - I picked up an early 944 recently (1983, non power steering, Sienna Red)
It does not have the original stereo, but it does have what looks to be an absolutely mint Alpine 7272 Cassette player.
I know this is pretty similar to the 7273 that was fitted as standard in a Lamborghini Countach of that era.
I love old stereos (I have a few old Alpines and Sony's) but this is before my time.
Question is, how rare/valuable is it? I'm trying to work out if I should leave it in there as a conversation piece or replace with something else. (I have a Sony XRC7200r which is a personal favorite)

Did you keep the Alpine 7272 in your 944 or did you decide to put a stock deck back in?
I ask as im actively looking for a 7272 series deck for my ASC McLaren. Let me know If you’re interested in selling the Alpine.
