it's been like that for almost 6 months now... not sure if he has cash flow issues or what? it's just odd that he had one of the best detectors out there on the market and just stopped making them... i have an older V1 in my other car that i love and wanted to buy another one but have been waiting since early this year...
another alternative is the Uniden R3 or Escort Max 360.... i really like V1 because of the ability to upgrade in the future...
EDIT: i just called to inquire about upgrading my unit... the response is that they are still waiting on parts... right now she said they are hoping to have them in production before the end of the year... i wouldn't hold my breath but at least it's better than the 2 wks response...
