Those radiators do not start leaking from sitting if you keep them clean.
The problem is always the same. Debris accumulation around radiators causes them to rot from outside to inside. This can happen fast. Driven or not.

I had 2 leaking radiators at once, the car was less than 2 years old at the time. Never knew how much dirt those cavities collect. I even found a pine cone in there.

Since then I remove bumper when needed and clean. Never had a leaking radiator again and meanwhile my car has become a true garage queen.
