Default CEL update--thermostat

Just took my 2011 turbo 6speed for an oil change at a dealer out of town. It was a planned trip as I no longer have a dealer near me. I have had an intermittent CEL over the past few months. The dealer just called to say that it was the engine thermostat and quoted me a total of $1100 for this issue. I do recall one cold day in the winter when the CEL came on and the engine temp stayed at 0 despite a long drive. Does this sound reasonable to you guys?

Thanks
