Default Interesting info I found

So lately I been getting check engine light on my car and when I pull the codes I get p2187. & p2189. So I bought these iPhone app which reads the values of the sensors I know it sounds crazy but hell I gave it a shot. When I drove the car while monitoring the values of sensors 1&2. I noticed that sensor 1 never moved up/down. Where sensor 2 when up to 70s. So I decided to see what it did while the car was idling and I noticed again that sensor 1 didn't go up/down. I am curious if anyone may have an idea if I am guessing right by saying that the O2 sensor on bank one is shot or the MAF sensor is shot on that's side. Also can someone please tell if I am correctly in stating that bank 1 side is on the driver's side of a USA spec vehicle? Any help would be great . Just one last thing the engine temp was at 185 and no issues other than these 2 codes.

My mechanic thinks that it could be my fuel pump. He is going to. Heck the psi coming from them since there is 2 fuel pumps and also going to check the all 4 O2 sensors. I am getting the lean codes so I am also replacing all the boost hoses and coolant as well the 3 coolant pipes from sharers . This is going to be some expensive fix.

Based on my info it is not an O2 sensor problem. Those codes are not O2 sensor related.

P2187 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 1 (RKAT1) - Above Limit

P2189 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 2 (RKAT2) - Above Limit

Possible fault cause

- Incorrect main charge signal

- Intake air system leaking

- Fuel pressure too low

- Volume supply of fuel pump too low

- Mechanical fault in injection valves

- PCV valve leaks

- Cap of oil filler neck leaking

- Leaks in exhaust system

- EVAP canister purge valve mechanically faulty (hangs open)

- EVAP canister purge valve output stage faults

Often from my OBD2 (and Porsche OBD2) references. In this case my references do not list those codes so I googled the error codes and I think I came upon the above in RennTech of which I am a paying member.
