After you remove both rear wheels and the rear bumper, it's a piece of cake. If you haven't done it before, it'll be a 1 day job. Just make sure the boost hoses are clamped well when you reinstall

Very easy to remove if you take the rear bumper and rear wheels off. Here's a DIY: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/9...diy-guide.html

I just paid a shop $500 to do this for me. I would have liked to try myself but need to invest in some car lift devices first.

Very easy DIY. dont need a lift to replace them

Id say its about a 4-5 hour job total if you never removed the rear bumper before.

Removing rear wheels and back bumper are quick and easy for first timer. If your intercoolers are exactly same size, then easy swap. If you are changing from 997.1 to GT2RS intercoolers, then get ready for Dremel in your hands for ~4 hours for exact retrofit of duct work. Job is straight forward regardless.

However, as someone mentioned above, take extra time to make sure hoses are properly seated and clamped. Mine were not, took car on test drive and instantly noticed noise, had to remove bumper again for access to properly secure the hoses.

Yep...This is not a bad (and actually enjoyable) mod. Someone above already linked to my DIY document. If you have basic mechanical skills, or just willing to try it, and have some patience, you can do it!

Good luck,
DC
