Annoying A$$ rattle
i have been through the forums and multiple people have complained about rattles inside the door. My rattle is the actual door handle rattling inside the car.... It makes and annoying noise from bass and or road noise... if I put a slight amount of pressure down or up it goes away but as soon as I let go it's back... I tried putting a small peace of blue painters tape on the inside of the door handle but was a no go. Also tried tightening the screw that attaches the door handle. The screw was already tight....Anyone else experience this? Ideas how to fix?

I feel your pain man. Nothing more irritating than a rattle.
My Turbo is OK but my 2014 Gti had a rattle and it did my head in. We found it after 18 months, but earlier I tried some special silicone spray that leaves a white residue. You might want to poke the nozzle in behind the panel and try that?
It's really good stuff.

I get rattles coming from all over the place in the turbo and finally went to a light flywheel clutch so that rattling overwrites all the other rattles :-)
BTW - the worst rattling in my car came from the cup holders which I cured with rubber bands!

I get rattles at random from the sports chrono wart, the sunroof, the centre console and the plastic face across the odometer. It's great, really...

I have a rattling from the handbrake area that drives me nuts at highway speed. Goes away if i rest my hand on it. Gonna need to start taking things apart real soon...

Rattle suck. I have some and they used to drive me crazy. Then I realized that I have a sports car and it may simply rattle. I've learned to live with it for now. I try to not focus on it too hard. It's not absolutely terrible, but my ADD kicks in sometimes with it and it bothers me.

I have the same rattle in my door handle and e-brake. I'm going to take both doors apart this weekend for some other work and will attempt to find and fix the cause of the rattle. The e-brake seems to be localized within the button and spring at the end -- might be tough to disassemble.

My rattle solution is a little piece of the fuzzy side of velcro tape. Maybe just a tiny little piece will solve some of these problems.
