997tt final

Multiple owners on a 10 year old toy, like a 997TT isn't a big deal. Most people keep these cars 2-3 years and move along. Also, the 997.2 rear end looks MUCH better than the dated .1, and certainly doesn't mean that the car was in a wreck. In the case of my car, the prior owner who did the swap kept all the pristine stock parts to prove that it wasn't. I think that is a bit extreme, but some buyers are just odd ducks.
In my opinion, a car with well documented service history is a much bigger deal than pretty much anything else. This is after buying a very clean car with deferred maintenance that ended up costing quite a lot to bring current. YMMV.
If the car is clean, it passes PPI, has up to date service, and it doesn't look to have been wrecked, I see no reason not to buy it.
