Default [mk1] Indicator error after replacing rear LEDs with mk2

Hello,

my car is 2008 mk1 997 turbo.

I replaced the stock rear lights with mk2 LEDs. They were coded as well, of course.

After that I've been receiving the error "Check right direction indicator" just after switching the ignition.

From the outside everything's OK - the lamp works properly (checked), is properly connected.

Each time this error is deleted via a computer, it appears once again when I switch the ignition on.

Has anynody encountered a similar problem and manged to successfuly fix it?

Cheers

Either resistor or ground related?

I haven't installed any resistors. I imagine that I should - but where and what type?

I'm assuming LEDs are OEM

Yes, they're OEM
