Hi.

Has anyone installed a Sprintbooster (or Pedalbox) on a 997.1 Turbo Tiptronic with Sport Chrono? I used to have a Sprintbooster installed on my further Cayman (987.1), but this car was a manual and had no Sport Chrono. I really enjoyed it! With Tiptronic and Sport Chrono now, I'm unsure... Thanks in advance

 

Scport Chrono, when engaged, pretty much does the same thing that a Sprintbooster does (among other things, too); increases throttle responsiveness - except that SC does it via the ECU and the Booster does it via an external resistor.

If you didn't have SC then I could MAYBE see some benefit to gain the increased throttle response, but for cars with SC, it would be a waste IMHO.

I would imagine if you DID install it on a SC turbo car the throttle would be even more touchy than it is with SC alone.. not something I would want, but YMMV.
