Anyone in the South Florida area running these wheels in 19 inch on their 997TT?

 

I'm not in Florida, but I've got a set of CH-Rs for my 997TT. They look very good.

I don't think my specs will apply perfectly to your situation because I run the BBS wheels as my winter wheels. This required me to drop down to a 19x11 rear wheel for the 295 width winter tire (per Porsche recommendation). I think the front wheels would be the same for you. My specs are as follows:

Front: 19x8 ET51 (running a 235/35 R19 winter tire)
Rear: 19x11 ET56 (running a 295/30 R19 winter tire)

Overall, I have been very happy with the wheels. I think they look great, they seem to be durable (no scratches or scuffs yet!) and they are easy to clean. I would definitely recommend them.

Thanks!! I'm considering your set up with stock/OEM tire size and a good hubcentric 10mm spacer. Been trying to find someone who got the 12's to work on the rear before deciding. Tried a friend's 19x12's the other day off his 996t (they fit perfect!!) and on my car the rim edge was a bit outside the fender for my taste. They just didn't look right.

 

BTW, you must LOVE your Turbo in Colorado!!

 

The turbo is nice at altitude. We live close to 8,000 feet of elevation, and my old normally aspirated 996 C4S seemed a little bit sluggish sometimes! I'm a big fan of forced induction.

 

I have 19X12 CHRs on the back. They fit fine. I have the stock 305s so there is a little bit of stretch. The offsets are a bit lame for the wide body. I have spacers front and rear bit I'm blanking on the sizes as I installed these years ago. They are at least 10mm in the rear though.

 

I manage to enjoy mine in Miami. You must have a blast there in the summer. Anyone with info regarding 19x12 rear vs 19x11 please chime in and thanks again Dennis.

 

A418t81, Thanks!! Your car was one of the ones that really caught my eye regarding the CH-R's. Looks great! Word is OEM tire spec is safest (AWD) although I've talked to guys who've had no problems mixing sizes. Any pics of your car from a rear angle, thanks

 

I do have some but I'll need a real computer not my iPhone to post the pics The stock tires allow you to be a bit more aggressive with the spacers and really push the wheels out flush with no fitment or rubbing issues. My car looks nasty from the behind. You can see the silver rim of the wheel sticking out just beyond the fender while the tire still is where it belongs. It looks super aggressive and mean with no tire wear issues. I've got about 10k on the rears and they still look great.
