Don't over think it guys. It's just a pecking order thing. It was moved because it has been deemed as no longer qualifiying as being a turbo lol. I guess with 991.2 being tubo'd with no turbo badge on the rear, the powers to be thought it wouldn't be right for the 997 turbo to maintain position, so 997tt was relegated off the turbo list completely. Alternatively it could be as simple as someone within IB hating, I mean weird **** does go on here if you step on the wrong toes...don't I know it. You can have foot soldiers assigned to your case if you **** off a vendor and boy its sure been a vendor fest of late as Cincy has pointed out. So it's possibly some kind of gentle reminder for you guys to mind how you go or it could get worse....i.e. your 997tt sect disappears completely!!

Default Why did the 997 Turbo Forum move?

This forum and its approach to support is frustrating a lot of people. I for one will not be renewing my membership.

The new app is horrid (less features than the older one, crashes, so many issues). They don't answer support requests in their support section. And now they move sub forums for no apparent reason (suspect someone just slipped?).

This should have been moved back. Makes no sense.

It could well be going broke. My last complaint went unanswered. Ridiculous and very unprofessional to say the least.

Once you find it you are both right it doesn't really matter. However, Rennlist and the 997 Turbo sub-forum attracts new owners all the time. There is a definite logic in the way they have segmented the cars up to this point. To list some turbo 911's one way and keep other generation turbo's a different way will only create confusion for new users. If they want to make the change, that's fine but it should be applied consistently across all models to make the site easy and consistent to navigate. To do otherwise makes little sense (except as listed below).

There is a certain amount of logic to your post, but it would only make sense for the 991 Turbo's and 991.2 standard and "S" models. With the 997 and all models preceding it there is a distinction between turbo's and non-turbo's. Going forward since all 991's will have turbo's perhaps IB should organize them all together.

If you want that change, let me know. I'll support your idea.......

^ You guys are on such a slippery slope the 997tt sect is no longer even listed on the main list now. Only way I could access it is by following an email prompt to your reply. And no one within IB, even any of the mods here seem to care.. Something definitely is going on. You guys must have really pissed someone off. I did hear that there were a lot of deleted posts just recently, that were made in some kind of complaint or protest by pissed off BBI customers.....I missed it and was only told about it by another member here. Maybe there is some correlation?

997TT rank the lowest in Porsche Turbo pecking and shall be remove on rennlist because it not worthy. If you have a 997TT, you should get rid of it now. "sarcasm".

Default Am I missing something, or did the 997 turbo forum vanish?

I don't see the 997 turbo forum on my PC or on my iPad or on my Android. they must have been very naughty or overrun by trolls.

Okay, this is freakin bizzare. I started a thread of the above on the 996 turbo forum, and it was immediately moved to the end of this thread? WTF?

Think of all those owners of multiple generations of Turbos that will now feel lost. It might be enough to prevent CincyScott from buying a 996TT as a daily!

^^^^^ agree. I think this was a "fat finger" mistake. I bet they get this corrected soon.

^^^+1. Don't car how they want to design it, but makes absolutely no sense to have one generation of TT in a different location than all the others. Poor design, and confusing for any new visitors.

See post nr 3 :

just get rid of all the turbo and GT2 / GT3 forums and make people post under the 997, 996, 993, 991, etc ...

but taking only 997 TT and moving it doesn't make any sense .....
