Anybody seen this car in person?
I am thinking about trading my 2012 C4S 997.2 for a 997.2 Turbo.
I can really use your help since I have no real knowledge about the turbo and its nuances.
Another issue that worries me is end up buying a Sandy car. Any tips on how to recognise them?
This is the link for the car:

Nice car, if you could get it for the low 90s would be great. The only option it doesn't have is the adaptive sport seats, a deal breaker for me unless it had heated and ventilated seats.
Good luck, love silver.

Hi Surgeon:
Thanks for your input. Low 90's has been my goal from the beginning and now you have validated it.
The only way I see this deal happening is if they take my 2012 C4S plus $20k for the 2011 Turbo.

The car looks great in the pictures, and is well optioned! My only additional consideration is that it's a non-S model with PDK. A non S with a 6 speed MT or S model with PDK would be my preference because of the rarity of the former, and the extra horsepower of the later.

I believe this is the same car I looked at (online only) MONTHS ago. If so, it has sat there for a VERY LONG TIME. They should be SUPER into negotiating at this point. If it had the adaptive sport seats and an S, I would have bought it in 2 seconds.
Have you driven it for 30-40 minutes, really taken it out on the roads and driven the heck out of it? The regular seats didn't fit my body well so I had to have the adaptive sport seats. If you are fine with these seats and can get it for like $92k, I'd totally go for it.
Good luck,
Steve

Thanks so much for sharing the info about the car sitting long on the lot. This is good from a negotiating stand point but worrisome in the sense that people might have looked at the car and walked away. That is why I am seeking help from someone who has seen the car in person. Of course I will do a PPI, but a report from a rennlister would be as important.
My C4S has regular seats and I daily drive it, so adaptive seats are not a necessity.

I could possibly see it for you tomorrow if i have time. I won't be too far from it up in north jersey. Looks great in the photos, should have the dealer pull out the paper work when it was brought to inventory.

Ed, I agree with you about the Turbo S PDK. I have certain options that I want (like silver color) which limit my choices. This Turbo is the closest to what I want. I know that at the beginning the extra power of the Turbo will overwhelm me but eventually I will want more and wished I bought the Turbo S. Its always the same story, but I have to draw the line somewhere. I also hope that an aftermarket exhaust and a tune will help narrow the gap between the Turbo and the Turbo S.

As a data point I bought a similar car (except 2012 TT Cab with adaptive seats and 24k miles) in Nov of 2014 and paid mid 90's.
