Default PCCB parts transferability

Hello guys
I have a 2011 Turbo S with PCCB's. She has been tracked by previous owner and rotors are almost done for. Rears especially. But all 4 are in pretty poor shape. The part numbers of rotors I currently have on the car are:
Fronts: 997-351-032-33 & 997.351.031.33
Rears: 997.352.031.01 & 997.352.032.01

A fellow Rennlister introduced me to a nice gentlemen who has a set for me at very fair price. Part numbers of what he has are:

Fronts: 997.351.032.91 & 997.351.031.91
Rears: 997.352.032.00 & 997.352.031.00

From my quick search it seems that his parts are from 07 GT3...need help figuring out if these will fit and any issues I should be aware of with using these parts on my 2011 TTS.

Thank you VERY much, you are an amazing resource. Thank you!!! ET.

I saw these on craigslist and posted them on the 996 turbo forum, someone there said they are also for 997 turbos?? I'm not affiliated with this sale but it seems like a good price for ceramics.

Jerry, I think you're right, because my '07 PCCBs have 996 part numbers on them. But, I don't think the .1 and .2 PCCB's are cross compatible for the OP's use.

TBH, depending on how you plan on using the car switching to steel may be a better bet thats cheaper over the long run regarding maintenance as well as offering equal if not better stopping power. Just my .02 not that you asked

Thank you guys, maybe irrationally, but I want to keep my car with original PCCB as G-d intended it...she is my everyday driver and I do occasional autocross...the parts available to me are roughly the cost of going with Brembo cast irons...just trying to figure out if parts will fit...any advice on where I could find a definitive answer vs. opinion? I am new to the Porsche world...

I that case they work to my knowledge... a quick call to a dealer can probably confirm. Mine has been really helpful with stuff like that.

Interesting that the rears are worn more than fronts.

Everyone I know with PCCB's switches to steel for track use. At $8k a set (2) It's an expensive proposition to Track PCCB's on a regular basis.

I hope you got a good price on the car with the brakes in that condition.

Welcome to the forum!

I did get a decent deal on the car, but PPI missed the rotors (bought her out of state), I suspect the local shop that did PPI was air-cooled specialist and never saw PCCB's...he did inspect the brakes and said pads are good...only when the car arrived in Los Angeles, local shop pointed out PCCB rotors gone...I got a second and a third opinion...unfortunately it is so. I don't plan to track her hard. But I do plan to do an autocross every 2 months +/- and an occasional DE, maybe once a year...twice at MOST...she is my everyday driver...I think PCCB would work just find for my intended use and will last me a very long time...previous owner tracked her hard, probably with PSM on, the torque vectoring supposedly kills the rears when you track. At any rate, I am quite frustrated. My question is quite binary (I think) these parts will either a). Fit b). Will NOT fit. I just cant seem to get the answer...I did call the dealership, their answer was not to do it because parts are of a GT3 and since part numbers are different I probably should not do it...not a clue about if they will fit or not...Is there anyone who knows, or at least point me to a definitive source for an answer?

Mine are still available and are direct fit (per Porsche). They are off an '08 997.1 TT with under 3000 miles and are practically brand new so no issues what so ever. LMK if you want to move forward and be done with this rotor headache that you have had for past several months.

I know...yours are fronts only though...I fear I won't find a separate set of rears, and my rears that is my most acute pain. If yours were rears I would long buy them off you...

Go steel and be happy... better brakes, better cost, fewer worries.
