I put the stop plate wrong. Very stupid of me! What happens is the shock gets tightened and the torsion created when I turned fully snapped it. So do I replace it or buy new stuff? Takes me probably two hours to fix it. $650.00 for one replacement. I feel so stupid, going to have several drinks with the wife to forget about it!

Well, you now get to choose between spending $650 for what amounts to be a Porsche branded B6 or spending $450x4 on Bilstein Branded B8's.
Not sure how many miles you have, but maybe you can view it as preventative maintenance? Trying to be a sunshine pumper here... If it makes you feel any better I think you should do it so you can tell us how much you like them

I did the rotors, breaks, pads and springs in February. Car feels great so kind of thinking just replace the unit I busted. Going to look into the B8's. I promised myself no more mods!
