Im not sure if I understand what your really asking but if the new car comes with a new car warranty then no, I would think not. I do know however that if you plan on purchasing an extended warranty it is best to do so before the factory warranty runs out as it is usually cheaper that way.
Agree with others, you're good for 46 months. If you still have the car at the end of the OEM warranty and plan to keep it, I would recommend an aftermarket warranty going forward (and be sure to buy it before the OEM warranty expires). Congrats on the new car!
