shifting the 997.2 at redline vs 991 GT3
I have driven both my cars back to back today and noticed something interesting.
I get that the PDK in the GT3 is several revisions newer, and faster on shifting, but shifting the GT3 at redline is an easy process, one that doesn't bang the rev limiter.
today in the turbo S, I decided to rip off some shifts at redline in normal, sport and sport plus. in every case shifting around 6700 caused the car to hit the limiter under throttle. seems like the delay is much longer than I remember.
problem or normal?

I know it is not apples to apples(actually, maybe it is?)but I echo your thoughts. When I got out of the 991 GT3 and into the Boxster Spyder, I felt like the shifts were very delayed. That actual shift transition didn't seem much longer, it just seemed like it took longer for the gear change to actually get started.
Maybe I am crazy. Or maybe the GT3 is just that good.
