Hello from proTUNING Freaks!
Hi Rennlisters,
Over the past year or so we've been avid community members on 6speedonline.com and have decided to join this great community as well as of this month to share our experience and offer input on tuning the 996, 997.1, 997.2 turbo motors. Over the years of tuning we've gathered valuable knowledge on extracting the most power out of both port fuel injection as well as direct fuel injected platforms. Our direct injection experience is most tied to the BMW platform and the N54 motor that is in the 1M, 135/335i/is and is very similar to the new S55 motor in the new F series M3/M4. That experience transitioned into work on the 997.2 Turbos that share the same fueling as well as fuel limitations that we've helped address on the BMW platform. We're working on extracting the most power on the 997.2 DFI platform by researching its fuel system and working on potential upgrades for it.
Tuning wise we're closely tied to Cobb Tuning and the Accessport. We've been with the Cobb platform since its inception on the BMW as well as Porsche platforms. Our BMW work can be found across the internet tuning anything from stock to very large custom turbo builds that utilize supplemental/secondary fueling to lift limits that surround direction injection there.
While working on the Porsche 997.1 Turbo platform we've also gathered great results. One of our customers managed to set a platform 60-130mph vbox verified record for the VTG platform by running a 5.9sec time, here's a link to 6speed where it was posted by our remote tuned customer Greyson in Alabama:

On the 997.2 Turbo platform we've managed to get some great results as well. This customer, Kayhan, showed some impressive figures with his beautiful Turbo S in Germany running only exhaust mods (exhaust+headers from KLINE) and our custom tuning on top of the Cobb Accessport:

While we do quite a bit of local dyno and road tuning, most of our work by far surrounds helping customers around the World in getting the most out of their cars by tailoring the tuning to their modifications, octane, weather conditions and most importantly power goals/needs. Off the shelf tuning is certain great and works well but like every tuner will tell you, at the end of the day nothing beats a properly set up custom tune tailored exactly the way your motor and you as a driver would want it to perform on your car.
Other than tuning we carry parts on our website that we have found to work perform really well through our testing. We do not carry parts we have not personally had a chance to test in our work or parts that we've found to perform in ways that don't exceed OEM quality/performance. As unfortunate as it is, there are times more often than not that parts are released by companies that simply don't work well or as advertised. Having said that, we certainly will never get a chance to test every possible version of an exhaust or intercooler or intake on our cars but you can be sure that anything we list or decide to carry will perform better than OEM, provide gains and that you can ask us any question in any level of detail on it knowing that you're getting feedback based on experience and not speaking to simply a reseller.
One fun project we've personally been working on at the shop on our shop's 997.1 Turbo is a build that is set to max out and produce a great running stock motor setup. For that purpose we chose to partner with KLINE for their great sounding exhaust with appropriate size piping, AMS performance for their top shelf quality intercoolers and paired those up with our custom tuning on top of the Cobb Accessport (later with the AEM Infinity standalone as well) and Aquamist methanol injection. Here's a link to that build thread:

Pretty sure this may be the longest intro thread on this website so if boring or uneventful please excuse us as this will be the last time we'll do an intro thread in this community
Let us know if any questions at all. Tuning is our specialty and no question is too dull or boring even if its been asked many times in the past. As they say, devil's always in the details
Regards,
PTF

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, appreciate it. We've got a number of Accessports in stock ready to go and for those interested as a token of our appreciation to the community we're running a 30 day intro deal that simply won't be beat by anyone on everything from our custom tuning to other hardware on our website especially when bundled in with our custom tunes. Let us know if we can help in any way at all.

Three Wheelin'
I've had the opportunity in witnessing PTF's tunning sessions and I can easily endorse Dzenno's products and the attention they provide to the customers tunes. One word to describe PTF: Authentic results!
My upcoming 997 will have PTF's signature tune!

Nice thing about our remote protunes is you can book dyno time at your local dyno facility and have us tune your car remotely without ever making the trip. Cobb Accessport platform allows us to do this in a very elegant way. Let me know if that might be something you'd be interested in.
