Default Anyone with experience - Premier Sportscars in Springfield MO?

Looking at a TT there and found some negative info regarding their sales practices from a few years back. Anyone out there have recent experience with them? I'm also looking for an independent Pshop in the area to do a PPI. Can anyone recommend a reliable shop that will take a paint meter to the car? I contacted the local PCA but have not heard back yet.

Thanks in advance.

There prices always seem above market value to me but I have no personal experience with them.

PM KCHU221, I think that he sold them a TT and may have bought one from them this year. I recollect his feedback was positive.

I live about 5 miles from them and have bought 2 cars from Chris Courtney who is the owner. I bought an '08 C4S last year and then a few months ago traded up for a turbo. Both cars were in immaculate condition. First one had 3k miles on it and the turbo had 16k miles. They do a good job of finding low mileage high quality inventory in my opinion.

He and his staff have always been very professional and I feel that the prices offered have been fair. No issues with the the cars I have bought from them and they have changed wheels/tires, done tint, radar detector stealth placement for me, car washes and overall great service for anything from getting paperwork for taxes/tags done etc.

Highly recommend them!

Thanks Nephro. Did you have a PPI done on your car? If so, where did you take it? There don't appear to be many options in that area.

ET1KTRD, I actually did not do the PPI as I trusted Chris since I've known him for a few years. He has the cars checked out independently. I took both of my cars to the Porsche dealer in town soon after I bought them for a brake flush and oil change for track prep and everything checked out fine. Another good place is Import Specialists as they do a lot of independent inspections for people.

Thanks Nephro.

Igooz, isn't Willhoit related to Premier in some way?

Premier recommended the local P dealership or Import Specialist. I spoke to RennsportKC but they are quite a drive away and would have to charge quite a bit to do the PPI due to the drive time.

I believe he and Chris actually co own Premier and work together, but not completely sure about that. He is pretty well known around here and has some sweet cars!

Nephro, do you know where he typically gets his cars? Is it through trade in's or does he buy at auctions?

I know that part of the country well, I believe they were in business at one time. Yes, many cars are purchase outright, traded in or obtained from other premium dealers. Like when a guy trades a turbo in at a f car dealership, they'll often be resold to a porsche tertiary market dealer.

I believe both ET1KTRD. As TT Surgeon stated for the other methods as well.

Thanks TT and Nephro. The dealership indicated it was traded in by the second owner who is a previous customer. Though the car fax is confusing as it see,s to indicate it's been sold more than two times.

That's typical if its sold back and forth between specialty dealers.
