Default Just picked up a 997.1 Turbo

Hey Enthusiasts,

My name is Damon and I just purchased my first P-car! I found this example up in Sacramento and drove it back down to Los Angeles. It's got 47k miles, but I plan to use it as a daily driver and it seems that these Mezger engines are pretty robust. I came from an e92 m3, a car that I have loved every moment of my 4 1/2 years of ownership. I want to give a thanks to this forum as it's provided some pretty valuable information in guiding my purchase decision. Just thought I'd pop in and introduce myself. A couple photos below.

Cheers

Too late, I've already read pages and pages! I am forcing myself to stay stock for a while at least or it will be madness. The overboost (sport) button will have to suffice for now!

I was surprised to see how well the steering wheel held up. I did some light cleaning and it came out pretty much new. The **** on the otherhand, I scrubbed that a little too hard and it frayed quite a bit. I've just ordered a new one...can't wait to wrap my hand around it!

They're great fun, you'll love it. My DD is a 400 awhp e90 335xi, so I understand liking both platforms!
