Default interesting.. headlights

I am a fan of the DRL headlights 991's, but not sure about these on the 997's

Does anybody have these here?

Link not working. I assume you are talking about the lights from Del Rey Customs that have the LED DRL ring that mimics the 991 TT.

They look pretty nice, but I would worry a bit about quality. There seem to be lots of issues with quality on some of the aftermarket LED tail lights that they sell.

I agree, they look really nice but if they start having reliability issues down the road, its not worth the risk. I'd rather get the LED DRL turn signal replacements which look great and won't be as hard to replace compared to a headlight.

Even if I have to replace them every few years I'd still want them.
They look great, if I could chose I would have preferred full functioning 997/2 turning headlights but these are very nice too.
Maybe even nicer but with these you will always have a ***** who feels the need need to comment "not original, you're a poser". If you can't take that better keep the stock.
As soon as they are available in Europe they are on my car.

I'm confused. Does this replace the entire headlight? Are they using an OEM headlight that is modified? Plus if you put this on our 997.2 cars, then we have fog lights and this halo?

I think their kit that just gives the regular LED strip like the other cars is enough. Though then the fogs are still there.

The DRL requires removal of the bumper. The headlights can just pop out. These would actually probably be easier to replace.

Still lots of unanswered questions but as I understand this product, the primary market is for 997.1 and it replaces the entire OEM headlamp assembly. No one has definitively said whether they will work with the 997.2.

It is a pretty elegant solution if you want to add LED DRLs to a 997.1.
