Default tire sizing help needed...

I recently bought a set of champion rs98 wheels and am trying to find the best tire size that won't wreck my differential . I've checked with several tire places and got different answers, and even tried champion several times with no response. Wheels are 19x9 and 19x12. The offsets are 63 in the front and 53 in rear. I currently have 7mm spacers in front and 15mm spacers in the rear although these could easily come off if needed. What size tires do the experts here recommend? Thanks!

The wheels are a little wide to use with the stock 235/305 tires. There isn't much selection in the sizing, but 245/35 19 up front and 315/30 19 are most ideal. The spacers will probably have to come off.

Why not 245 / 325 combo? That's GT2 sizing?

True...but the GT2 is RWD and the TT is AWD - maybe some concern about effect on differential?

Rest assured your confusion won't be solved here.

First 235/305 combo works very well on 9/12" wheels.
Second you can use the sizes mentioned above (245/315), that would work very well also.
But you can also choose 245/325 GT2 sizes.

None of the above will harm your diff.

Denis is correct. All of those work.

PS: 997 GT2 has 235 on the front 325 on the rear. I just looked at the photos of my own car. They fit nicely, but that car is RWD.

Just to be safe, I'd get a GT2.

What if the circumference of the rear axle is larger than stock and the front axle stays the same?
The computer might thing the front wheels are spinning, or?
I assume there is a tolerance.

Thanks for all the help fellas. Since I already have stock 235/305 tires on the car with at least 60% tread left, I'm going to have those put on the RS98's and see how I like it. I appreciate the reassurance that those will work without damaging the car.

Thread revival!
How did it work out with the 235/305? What have you tried since? Just ordered a set of 9"/12" wheels and looking around for tires. Still have some meat left on my existing tires and wouldn't mind using them up if no risk of causing issues.

I just went with 245/305 Cup2s with my 9”/12” wheels. The 305 is a tad stretched but zero rub and the 245 look great.
My next set will be a bit wider in back while keeping front at 245 unless they run extra wide (Like Hoosier).
