In a separate thread, I used statistics on the VIN taken from US cars for sale on Autotrader/eBay to determine the production numbers for 997 turbos, which remains in progress for the 997.2 cars. The 997.1 cabriolet analysis is now complete and below are a summary of the production numbers including those with MT, the most popular exterior and interior colors as well as the states that have the most 997.1 cabs for sale. I had a guy offer 62 for my 2008 with 47,000 miles over the weekend. I was getting a cup of coffee and just started a conversation with the guy.

I see that no brown turbo cabriolets showed up in your analysis. I guess that explains the reason that mine is the only one that I've ever seen!

Brown is a rare color, in fact I don't think I've ever seen one in person on any 997! I was surprised too that Sea Blue is a rare interior color, which I have on my car. I think it pops with silver, but I guess others are much less enthusiastic.

Yes! $62k is low. I searched for two months before finding my 28k mile 2008 cab at RUF. I found nothing with less than 50k miles in good shape for less than $67k-$70k.

Mine was a paint to sample orange and I think one of one in the cab/tip/08?
