Default GT2/GT3 rear brake cooling ducts on 997.2 Turbo

Do we have anyone that successfully installed GT2RS/GT3RS rear brake cooling ducts on a 997.2 TT?

Did they fit "plug&play"?
What did you do with the light leveling sensor mount?

I tried to install mine today and looks like it is not that easy...

Ducts part no 99757553190 & 99757553290, brackets part no 99757563191 & 99757563291

I run these on a 996 and they will also fit a 997.1TT. Should fit a .2 also. Make sure you get the correct brackets depending on what LCAs you have. One set fits stock LCA and another set fits the Cup/RSR arms like I have. Those above are the Cup brackets..

Thanks for the tip.

I have the same brackets as on the pic.
So the other bracket must be the one with the "90" part number ending.

Something like this:

I got the other bracket.

Now the fitment is much better (finally there is a place for headlight leveling sensor), but I'd still not call it "plug&play".

Looks like the issue is the lower swaybar link mount. It touches the duct and does not allow the correct fitment.

However with some bracket trimming & longer bolts it can be done and will work.

Still waiting for others with 997.2TT & GT2/GT3 rear brake cooling ducts.

There is no clearance issue between the duct and the sway bar link once the suspension is loaded up. The reason you're having issues is due to the fact that the 997TT suspension has much greater droop than the GT cousins on coil overs. My guess is you are on stock suspension

Resurrecting this thread as am about to renew my rear pads which has reminded me how much faster they wear than fronts, notably with PTV, and therefore would like to improve rear cooling.

Could someone be kind enough to confirm:
(A) that this mod WILL fit the 997.2TT
(B) correct part numbers for a 997.2TT
(C) any advice/comments/adjustments required etc.

Thanks!

For what it's worth, my indy shop ordered the GT2 cooling ducts for my rear brakes that "he puts on all the 997.1 turbos". And he couldn't make them fit. I don't remember what exactly the problem was but just don't assume anything fits the 997.2 just becaus it fits the 997.1.
