Yep..Good call. Tried a BMC once, before I learned they did no good. A lot of money and the rubber turns in to a Gummy Bear after a short time ad it falls apart. Hard to believe!!

Also the fastener you have is call ed a Pentalobe (security version here)...It is like a Torx, but with 5 points instead of 6...When looking for the tool...search "Pentalobe"

Also...OEM is the best intake...No one has any evidence anywhere that any other intake performs any better...I have not seen any anyway and have searched for a long time!

Igooz. That is an OEM paper filter. They all have a thin layer of grey foam on one side..Pull the cover off and you'll see.

Interesting fact...the foam is added to the OEM filter for noise reduction.

Ah, that what it's for. Makes an already quiet engine even quieter...hehehe. No wonder when I switched it out for the BMC filter, intake noise is more noticeable in upper RPM.
