I have never heard the 1M called a hair dressers car. It looks like a bulldog to me. It is a great car imo. The 997 tt is in another league speed wise. I actually prefer the rwd handling of the 1M.

As noted before, there maybe a confusion between the 1M and the M1.

I was in Munich at the BMW museum a week ago and had the pleasure of seeing the M1 Pro (race) car...one of the all time great cars...(iPhone pix came out ok)
