Default Any info on this silver 2009 Turbo at Camdon Autosport?

Hello, this is a car I am looking at here in NC. The price seems a bit high and it has a number of mods on it. looks also like has been tracked. Any thoughts or opinions on this car? Thanks in advance for any opinions.

Thanks, I went down to look at it this afternoon and it was not in the best of shape. It was apparent the owner did not take good care of it cosmetically it. I'll keep looking.

Does anyone else have any info on this car. Apparently still for sale and I'm considering it. but the above post gives me pause. Cbst09- what was wrong with it? Paint damage? Sent you a pm.

If you are really interested, go look at it - not that far away. A third party look will always be different than yours.

looks in great shape from the photos. Why does it seem that it was tracked?

for an 09 with those miles that price is not too far off.

i am on the search for a turbo, i was interested in this car although not the biggest fan of silver.

to the regular buyer this looks like a track prepped looking car.

well on closer inspection you can see the brake calipers are turning yellow. indicative of a car that has been tracked heavily. i tracked my old 996 turbo and c2s calipers never went yellow.

not to mention the 2 piece rotors. track die hard mod!

its probably a very good car, best way to tell is to check for over revs

that being said, if the car has been tracked an maitaned not really an issue. that said i do not know the owner.

this is a 2009 - manual - super rare

I went to look at it back in December and the car was not what I would call a clean car at all. Definitely not babied and had scuffs & chips consistent with what you get in a heavily tracked car. It took me all of 5 minutes to decide the car was not for me, the price is seems reasonable on the surface and the 09 TT in manual are not easy to come by but this one is not worth the price. The girodisc rotors alone are probably over 3k but they were worn and the calipers looked rough as well. The car has been on the market for months including a price reduction for a reason.

Wise decision IMO. May fit someone who wants a track car.

i know it sounds odd and would not apply to a 2009, on the 2007-2008 cars i take a good look at the climate control buttons.

if they are all beat up to me the rest of the car has been poorly treated, my 2005 c2s had perfect buttons as i really cared about the car and was gentle when adjusting the ac.

look around the center console for wear and tear its all signs of someone who was not an enthuthiast

i am just quite particular and do not to sit in a cabin that looks tired and worn.

Thanks for the tip. I always look at the GPS - stored and last destinations. The other day I was checking a 997TT and found 3 stored destinations, one of them was a raceway address. I passed the car.
