Default 997.1 LED DRLs from MaxSpeed Motorsports

Has anyone installed the LED DRLs offered by MaxSpeed Motorsports?

http://www.maxspeed-motorsports.com/...ng_Lights.html

It looks like a nice product and a nice upgrade for the 997.1 cars. Any experiences with the installation process or the product itself?

Thanks.

I've though about them Dennis, but I want to change the exhaust and suspension on my car first.

I'm doing small cosmetic changes first. I probably won't change my suspension - the stock suspension is already almost too low for the Colorado mountains. Exhaust interests me though...

I like the DRLs not only to freshen up the look of the front of the car, but I really do believe that they add safety driving in and out of shadows, especially in a darker car.

Love it! But $800... Hmmm that's more expensive than the rear led replacements.

My point exactly. $ 300-400, I'll bite, but $ 800+ and my lights stay off, but sure look good when the blinker is on !!!

Yeah, it is a bit on the expensive side.

You can find these cheaper on eBay. I thought about them as well but read there were quality issues on earlier versions

Interesting. I wonder if that's the same kit as mentioned above...

I have a set that I put on a long time ago....They were $1000 then, so price is a little better now

It does require front bumper removal, but I think they look pretty good and have held up good so far for a couple of years now. Looking at the photos and wiring, I would say the eBay ones look the same. In fact, I think one chinese company makes them all and everyone sells them as their own??

If the price were right I would go for them, nice upgrade, but don't think it's worth it at current prices
