Default Looking to become a Turbo owner???

I am a 997 Forum active member as I curently own a 2009 C4S...however, my local dealer just got a trade in...a 2009 Turbo as follows:

Year = 2009
Miles = 29,963
Trans = 6 speed
Color = GT Silver Metallic (in great shape)
Sunroof
Nav
Sport Chrono Plus
Carbon interior package
etc...

They are asking $84,980.

My research is telling me that is a bit over priced. I am thinking somewhere around the following...any guidance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Non-CPO = $69K
CPO = $71 - $72K

Thanks...

I doubt the dealer will let it go any where near your listed prices, especially if they just got it in. Their bottom is probably $78k.

Agree it looks a little high but to expect dealer to come off 15% is highly unlikely. Looks like a great car though - good luck with this. BTW - they all have sunroof's so don't let them charge you extra for that

My guess is the lowest they would go is around 80K; where are you seeing 09 CPOs with similar options/miles for $71-72K?

your listed price is for 2007 and maybe 2008 TT... I'd say the dealer might dip to 80k depending on how you negotiate...

With five previous owners, the Turbo has a price with some room for negotiation. However, considering that the same dealer is selling several 911 Carreras (one's a cabriolet with mileage that's similar to the Turbo's, and the second, a coupe, has less than 6k miles) in the $70k range, room for significantly adjusting the Turbo's price is limited.

Priced in the mid-$80's, quality 2009 911 Turbos are not overpriced, in my estimation.

It also depends on how much they want to pay for your c4s, in case you want to sell. If they think there is good demand for it, you might get some extra if you trade it in. That was my case. Also, it doesn't hurt to have a Carmax estimate in hand.

How did you find out this car had five previous owners...and is that a bad thing considering the mileage?

Good point and I bought my C4S recently from them...I need to check into this car some more...history, etc...but if everything looks good (oh and I did find out it is a CPO car) my thougths would be to offer them my C4S and $20K...if they take that it may be mine...but based on replies here that could be a stretch???

That's a little high but not much. Youre a little delusional to think it's worth $69k, doubt most 07s would go for that price. No offense, these are holding their value well. Looks like a great car though. GT silver is custom color too. Very attractive.

Just click on the handy Carfax link in the ad for the car:

Last owner was only 5 months as well. It is a CPO car though, so major work would be covered.

Check the Kelly Blue Book Value. Unless that web site is low the price for this 2009 is very high. Value listed on the web site in excellent condition would be around $70,000. Keep checking so that you get your best price.

I think "delusional" is a bit stong as my suggested prices in the OP came from research on KBB for a 2009 with this mileage and options (see below for a non-CPO car & buying from a dealer)...I was a little surprised and why I posted. Is there a better place to find more realistic prices for Porsche than KBB? Again why I posted.

Exactly and thanks Jay as I did reserach KBB before posting and was surprised by the pricing they gave and I slowly went through and checked all the right boxes (twice...LOL)...for a CPO car from a dealer is where I got the price I showed in the OP also
