Leo, I don't know the market, but that's a lot of $ for a 6-7 year old car!
You could buy a 07-08 tt for half of that, with money left over for mods that you have the knowledge from prior experience that work.
Decisions!

BTW, I have sat in this car. I know you have looked at this same car many month ago. Its still for sale, BTW for a reason.
If you fly out to see it, let me know though. Would love to connect.

What's the reason it's still for sale? Also, you'd think it would be CPO at $125k.
Leo, No. Would love to see you back on the porsche forum but, not with another headache.

Leo, I see one issue: the car is not black; you kind of like black cars I think...
Otherwise the photos look nice! It is a $200k car that is depreciated 40% and you get the über exclusivity of the GT2. But as others have pointed out it is still an expensive car.

It is expensive but if you look at the 996 GT2's for sale they are asking for 80-90K. 40% depreciation on 125K is better than 40% on 200K. That being said the car still has to be the car for you.

I don't really mind if the car is old... I just love the performance and the look of the GT2! My Gallardo is 2004 and drives like a brand new car...
I love my Gallardo but I'm getting bored :-/ i get wayyyy too much attention...

I think this car is badass!! But I really don't understand why they can't sell it... They just lower the price by 7k... Maybe they will take 120k?
Do you think the car is in good conditions?

After discovering the Rennlist, I figured it would be best to get a 964 Turbo instead.
Than it boiled down to 3.3 vs 3.6 and with a similar reasoning, I got convinced on buying a 3.3 Turbo instead
It's a lovely car and I will not part with it but man, I should have bought a yellow 3.6 Turbo with 8000 miles that I was considering buying for $62,000 at the time.
There's a HUGE difference between a 997 TT and a 997 GT2 and if he wants a GT2 then let him get one.

As you know...mine was a white one and I sold it 2-3 months ago. It went via broker to E. Europe. For reference $141k with around 7k miles and no warranty, but it needed clutch, LSD, front tires, maybe front pads, etc. Deal was real money and I took it. I bought a different car and needed to move quick.
You've been talking GT2 for as long as I've known you...I will be back in CO on Saturday August 8th. I will be happy to look for you.
If you want someone to do a PPI try 3zero3 Motorsports. The selling dealer may do CPO too?

Why do you want the widow maker?
Just get a 2012 997TTS for the same money and enjoy it.

I wasn't talking about the GT2 ;-)
Yes please! Can you check it out for me? I already contact the dealer to see how much money would I get for my Lambo...
