Default leather repair

I picked up my car from Chris and I noticed the terracota on the driver side seat bolster is worn. I've seen this in plenty of the cars. has anyone tried to fix it? it looks like it could probably be fixed with the correct leather polish color.

anyone try that yet? i'll probably take it to a shop to get it fixed. with only 27k on it i noticed the leather has some good cracks in it. i'll get them to fix that too.

Thanks,
Sid

Been using Leatherique for years just for maintenance. If I had a crack to fill, I would try their

But the best is probably a professional shop.

I have seen pro shops mix a bit of dye into leather care stuff and the rub it in by hand extensively...and it does a fantastic job of renewing the bolster scrapes.

I redid the leather in my 964 turbo a while back, it doesn't really take much skill. Used the Leatherique system.

I bought a kit to try and fix my leather, but have been too scared to try.

I've used Zaino for years, while it's not directly for leather correction, it's done a fantastic job of treating the leather.

on my car it looks like a little bit of terracotta shoe polish would probably do the trick. i bet a little sponge and the dye would restore the color. one of those cases where you have to remember to get seated in the seat then rotate instead of just sliding in. there are some cracks in there and to be honest, that doesn't bother me much. but like everyone else i'm a little scared

I did some blue shoe polish on my '87 Carrera seats.

Did not fill the cracks like the Leatherique and other products do.

I have some very overpriced leather client chairs in my office (wood portions match my overpriced desk and credenza) and I am almost sure I used Leatherique to refinish the leather some years ago. They matched the original color perfectly (from an original sample I had) and it did an amazing job bringing them back to like new condition. No experience with pcar seats, but very happy with Leatherique.

EDIT: Just searched, and it was www.leathermagic.com that I used.

going to a shop to get it done. $90 to get the leather dyed. i asked about the crack filler and he didnt recommend it. he also didn't recommend using cleaners or conditioners.
