997.2 TT vs 991 C4s
Hi guys,
need your opinion on this one, presently have a base 991 and looking at the above cars to upgrade. Car is going to be a daily driver and occasional track events .
Both with warranty but of course different body style.
which car will you recommend? thanks

You've got to drive both. The power of the TT is pretty addictive, but you might prefer the overall refinement of the newer chassis. That being said, the 997.2TT is nicely updated version of the previous Turbo, especially the suspension, AWD system, and electronics. Both are great DDs...
Down the road I might consider trading my car for a 991 GT3, but not for a Carrera--the power difference and turbo power surge is preferable to me.

C4 has a great wide body look. Not missing anything in aesthetics there between the two. However I drove both the 997.2 and C4 when deciding on mine and there really is no comparison with feel and power. I use my turbo as a dd and track car. I was very underwhelmed with the c4. Didn't feel that the new interior of the 991 had really anything to offer over the 997.2 with all it's upgrades from the .1. It was an absolute no-brainer when driven back to back. If you get ample seat time in both I'm not sure it would be possible to get a 911 Porsche Carerra 4.

thanks to the above posters, was able to drive the 12' TT last weekend and the power was really something to experience. haven't driven the 991 C4s.
originally wanted to get a 991GT3 until the issues about the car came up. so was seriously thinking about the 2012 TT vs the c4s.
'12 TT is CPO.
