I just replaced the plastic cowl trim that goes between the windshield and the hood this weekend because my old piece was warped. There was a gap between the plastic and the windshield....but the new one has the same problem too! Is there anything I can do about this? Seems like a bad design. There's 1 nut on either end and a screw in the middle so there's not really any adjustment.

fitment looks correct from here. What gap are you referring to?

Take if off, heat it and bend it (don't over heat or over bend for obvious reasons).
I have done that with a few of these types of plastic parts. Else, you can use some "goop", e.g, silicone glue to glue it down.

Yea it's kind of hard to see but there's a gap between the windshield and the plastic piece. Maybe I can get a better pic.
I think I'll probably try to get a piece of 3M double-sided tape under there. Still really surprised that it's hard to for Porsche to make this part properly. Bought the genuine part from Jim Ellis Porsche...

are you talking about the rubber seal that hugs the bottom of the windshield?

Let it sit in the sun, then push it down, pull it side to side, etc. while your adjust the bolts. There isn't much adjustment but it helps. The box they are shipped in from Porsche is a bit too small and they tend to be compressed creating a bow.
