Default 991 Porsche Logo/Emblem on a 997

Guys; don't haze me if this has been covered or posted but I did a search and couldn't find anything with numerous search entries.

The new 991 has a rather large Porsche emblem plastered across the rear engine deck lid.

Has anyone put one one a 997 Turbo?

You really like that? (You mean the word: P O R S C H E ?)
I think it won't fit because of the shape of the lid.

For me just "turbo" does it.

For some reason the new big Porsche logo on the rear reminds me of the people that plaster a huge vynil sticker on the side of there car, to make sure everyone knows what it is.

No thanks!

Yeah, plenty of folks have done this, both ways. Those with 997.1/.2 are sometimes adding the big script, while many of the 991 owners are debadging and leaving just the model info.

We offer painted finishes for these emblems and noticed that many are going on prior models.

I also like "turbo" but not in silver so I found an identical replacement badge in black and attached it. It's subdued on my black TT but it gets the point across!

Thanks all.

I like it on the 991, but I don't think I'll be adding it to my 997 - doesn't seem to look right.

Not a fan of the new badging..In fact ,, Oh never mind..

Looks like the 100k GTR is still spanking the 200k 991 TT. Hmmmm...And GTR has not even come out with their 991 killer yet..

That would really rub me the wrong way as a new 991 TT owner.

We all like different mods, and I kind of like the new scripts!

Me, I'm going to paint my turbo emblem same orange as the car.

I'm a fan of no badge myself, but if you needed one, I'd go for the Turbo
