Default Softronic tune bought

Last week, Softronic tune went on Sale. Was on the fence before that.
It came on Friday last week and will install shortly. My expectations are not that big hoping that the improvement is noticeable as already installed drivers say.
In the meantime, went driving this past weekend in all gears, all different RPMs to see what it is now.
Will let my opinion known after I drive it with installed tune. Stay TUNED?

If you don't find that the change is huge, I will be amazed. After I did my tune (having already done EP1) I took people on a drive and two of them had the same model car and they couldn't believe the difference. One of them has already bought the tune based on the experience and the other is likely moving to a 2009 tt and he will then also do the Softronic tune.

I will also be interested to hear whether you notice any difference in throttle sensitivity or redline!

OP, do you already have an exhaust? if so you will notice a huge difference with the tune. without an exhaust you should still get a nice bump but I don't think you'll get the full 80-100 hp gains.

look forward to reading your review

I'm in the same boat. Bought but not installed. It's been miserable weather here in the Midwest.

how many of you are using your OEM clutch after you installed the tune, does it hold the additional power?

It seems yes from 50% and no from the other 50%

Being that I live close to Softronic, Scott Slausen personally did my tune two years ago and lifted my car up the performance ladder. It runs flawlessly with no CEL's and has the acceleration of a beast unleashed. AKA the "Black Mamba". You will not be disappointed.

80 hp sure, maybe the throttle mapping trickery.
